What a LONG week!! Eric was in D.C. for work last week. He came home Friday night. We got to hang out Friday night and Saturday...woo hoo! Went out to see some of our friends and practice some sign language with them. I think I'm doing good. Then meet up with some other friends who were playing a show that evening at the Big Horse. It was a tiring weekend.

Season finale for Sopranos. What did you think?? I think it was OK. Not my favorite season finale.. but I can't wait to see how it ends!

Me, Oli, Eric and Diana outside of the Big Horse Saturday Night.

Wednesday

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't written in a while! I've been busy with the wedding stuff. Duh! Anyways, look what I just found out...

This is Cali...the daughter of my cousin, Francis. She is mestiza. Mestiza in term means (Mestiso or Mistiso) a generic reference to individuals of any non-specific foreign admixture to an ethnic Filipino base stock. We now have TWO mestizas in our family Cali and Makena (Lani Lisondra & Mike)

Isn't she adorable. Hey, COUSINS... this is your niece, Cali. Uncle Francis's granddaughter.

If your wondering why I have to explain who this is.. it's because I have many MANY MANY aunts and uncles and a lot of cousins are not sure who belongs to who. HA!! My dad has 10 siblings in his family (2 have already passed) and my mom has 9 siblings (1 has passed). So you can only image how many cousins I have!

Sunday

What an EXHAUSTING WEEK!!!! Last Monday, there was the big Immigrant march downtown. 400,000+ people marched to the rally in front of my work building. We got lucky enough to be let go before they arrived so I had some time to have lunch with Eric.

Then Justin came in on Wednesday and I got to hang out with him on Thursday ... Jesse treated us to some wonderful Champagne called Diebolt Vallois, Blanc de blancs, a Cramant and a taste of $595 bottle of Chateau Lafite 1988. It was great!!!! I loved it! Then later found out the Bono from U2 was eatting in the dining area on the otherside of the room. WOAH! Cool!

Friday night.. Hung out the Fish's, Oli, Diana and Molly... watched the White Sox lose to the Royals. That really bites!

Saturday Night went to met and watched a couple of bands play at the Red Line Tap. It was pretty neat. Met Stan from Chett. There were a couple of great bands...esp. that last one!

Then tonight Eric and I babysat for our deaf friends. They had a 2 and a 4 year old. PIECE OF CAKE!! DJ (4) taught me some sign language...shark, train, elephant. It was pretty fun!!!

Now I'm EXHAUSTED!!! I can't wait to take my couple of days off!!
