CONGRATULATIONS, JUSTIN!! Justin passed the Chicago Bar Exam!! That is sooo great!!! Good luck on your job search here in Chicago.
CONGRATULATIONS, ALEX! Alex is graduating from the Business College at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor...And he got an AWESOME job in San Francisco starting in August!! Thats great!!! Congratulations, Alex!
I had a lousy day yesterday. My car's engine light went on AGAIN. A girl ALMOST stole my money at the ATM machine. And CVS charged me double on my purchases. UGH!! I just wanted to go home but I had to take my car to the mechanic and now I have to leave it behind tomorrow. I wish I can just go out and have a wonderful evening without worrying about these problems. But I'm not going to let it affect me. I have a lot to look forward to!!! My upcoming Shower(s), becoming Miles' Godmother and MY WEDDING!!! And I love my family and friends who've been so supportive and always make me look on the bright side of things (about Wedding stuff). Some people don't do that, you know. Oh yea! Some people are plain mean and don't even realize how mean they are. That's why I appreciate my family and friends who've been so great!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RUTH!! - I hope you have your SPA day!!!
SPRING...Finally!!! Went out on my first jog this year and saw a lot of new store have opened up in my neighborhood. There's a ColdStone Ice Cream store, a PotBellys, a new old record store, new restaurants, new shops. Its great!!! Makes me want to live in this area more and more. I hope Eric and I can find a place closer to the new shops after we get married. It would be sooo nice!

Saturday was our Catholic class. It was interesting and inspirational. And the 2nd thing we had to do with the church before the wedding. Only 3 more things...meet with Priest, rehearsals and the Wedding!!
After class, I picked up my broke car...something about leaky pipes...and we went home to watch Memoirs of a Geisha. It was awesome! I really liked the movie. Another movie I would like to own.
OOO ONE MORE THING...I was asked to become MILES GUILLEN's GODMOTHER! I'm sooooo excited!!!

Well here is the newest member of my family... RYAN!! He's got the family nose and eyes!! It took Irene only 4 mins. to pop this baby out!!! NO EPIDURAL!!! OH DEAR!

Sorry if I haven't been keeping in touch...been busy with wedding stuff and errands. Tired today..."the boys" woke me up at 4am.. so tired!!!.. Nate is in town and staying at our place. Hard to get back to sleep!
Well, sorry i haven't been home long enough to go online and work on things (but wedding stuff).
Interesting things going on?? Not too much. I'm back in my PS2 mode. My cousin, Joemar, informed me that Kingdom Hearts came out with Kingdom Hearts part 2. I'm so excited!!! I just want to finish the first one. I'm almost done!!
My cousin, Nene, is in town. Saw her for a little bit. I hope she comes back for the wedding.
Mandisa got kicked off of American Idol. So sad to hear.
Started "Six Feet Under" ... pretty good. Just watched the first episode. Can't finish it for a while. Eric has to work and we're off to Nebraska to meet MILES!!
OOO and I have a picture of my Goddaughter CJ..Isn't she cute!! She looks like her mom, Joy, when she was very young.

I have not yet contacted my cousin Doris. Its pretty hard. What do I say?? I guess I should call when I have a clear head and have had a good day...so every feeling I have at that moment won't accelerate those feelings when I finally talk to her. Or I'm just avoiding it and afraid to say goodbye.

The other night, my cousin, Ajie, called from the Philippines to inform us that our cousin, Doris, is now at Stage 4 of the brain tumor and to call her before she loses consciousness. My cousin, Doris, has been my pen pal since I was old enough to mail a letter. I've only met her once when we went to the Philippines 18 years ago but we've been really close in our letter. She was diagnosed with brain cancer about 10 years ago. She went through chemo and they removed most of the tumor. Obviously, not enough to form so large that it is now pressing hard on the brain that she may start losing consciousness soon. Tonight I will be calling her ... maybe for the last time and I'm praying for a miracle. Her birthday is on my wedding day.

Well, Eric and I had a movie marathon last night. We watched RENT. I LOVED IT!!! I LOVED IT!!! If you love MUSICALS and love and devotion...you will love this movie.
Second movie we watched was HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. It is my favorite Harry Potter Movie!! Very entertaining and lots of adventure.
Congratulations to Nick and Dana ... they are engaged!!!!! I'm so happy for you Nick! I'm so happy that your happy!!!
My cousin, Lani, is about to have her baby. Only a few days .. maybe hours. I can't wait to see her.

Some sad news to report. My cousin, Doris, in the Philippines had a mild stroke due to the tumor in her brain. I can't remember if they removed it but it was such a long time ago. It must've grew again. I'm so sad to hear it because I'm very worried now. She is having trouble communicating. I hope she's doing ok. She's only in her 30s. It's saddens me. I'm thinking of you Ate Doris!! I hope your ok!!

We watched the Oscar Winning...WALLACE & GROMMIT Movie. It was great. Entertaining!! A child at heart...I LOVED IT!!!!

Justin came into town last night. He's here for an interview. I hope he gets the job!!!!
Eric, Justin and I went to eat a Thai place down the street. It was good but we still love our SIAM COUNTRY! After dinner, we went to our favorite bar to play some darts...AND GUESS WHO HIT 9 BULLSEYES IN ONE GAME!! YES I DID!!! I was HOT last night! I kicked the boys butts I won 4 out of 5 games!!! YA!!!
Later that evening we went to Carroll's to sing a little karaoke...Eric did China Girl and Justin and I did "Love lift Us up where we belong." It was highly entertaining!!!
I don't want to talk about American Idol...Please...KEVIN should've left!!!

Well, the Berghoff's finally closed their doors promptly at 9pm last night. That is where I first met Chris, Eric's brother, for the first time in October 2003. Awww...
