Georgette and I went trick or treating to the only house on the block besides my parents that celebrated Halloween.

HELLLLOOOOO!!!! It's me!!! Sorry I haven't been written in a while...been pretty busy and LAZY!
Birthdays: Lily turned 30 on October 20th. And Jackie's Birthday was on the 28th.
World Series: St. Louis Cardinals are the 2006 Champions!
Won $3 at Poker with Justin, Trout, Margaret & Eric!
Watched "The Prestige" Saturday night. It was AWESOME and it was even better that Christian Bale and Huge Jackman were in it!!!
And last night .. Jesse took us out to dinner at Spacca Napoli. Great pizza!! There was a long wait outside, if you didn't have reservations. I definitely recommend it!

Wednesday
Tonight I'm thinking of my cousin, Doris. She was a really nice person. Even though we lived miles and miles away from each other and I was much younger than her. She would always take the time to write me a letter or send me a gift. She was very kind. I wish I had known her more than I did.
The day Eric and I got married was her birthday. It was just a coincidence. The day she died was my birthday... coincidence. She will be buried next to my uncle... on his birthday, October 7th. Coincidence? It is very strange!
I found out tonight that Ate Doris was asking for pictures from the wedding. I didn't send any cause I didn't think about it. I was waiting. I did send her a picture of Eric and I, a few months ago to tell her that our wedding is the day of her birthday. And she was waiting for the pictures...I wanted to show her the video but it isn't finished yet. So, I'm sad about that. Now I know I can't put off things til later. It might be too late. :(

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes. I had a nice, chill, birthday. Friday night, Jackie & RJ came over and we had a "fry" party. Yes, Dee, Apple, Pat & Elizabeth, we got out the Deep Fryer and we fried some veggies and shrimp. It was DELIGHTFUL! And a lot of fun!
Then, around midnight I got a call from my mom ... she called me not to only wish me a Happy Birthday but to bear some bad news. My Ate Doris (cousin) died. Yes, it was very sad. She was the one with the brain tumor that I mentioned in March. She was my pen pal and a very close cousin since I was very young. Eric and I were married on her birthday and she has died on mine. Not very happy news. I'm especially sad because I never got a chance to call her and say I'm sorry.
Anyway's, I tried to cheer myself up by going shopping on Saturday. It wasn't as fun but I did get some nice stuff from the birthday gift cards I got. Thanks Everyone! And Eric took me out to dinner.. we had some steaks and lobster. Yum!! Thanks, my husband!
Well, tonight I'm having a birthday dinner with my family and we're going to call the Philippines to talk with my aunt & uncle. I know .. she's in a better place now. Its just that feeling of regret of not calling her that bothers me.

Hi! Sorry, I haven't been around in a while. I've been busy trying to catch up with myself. Anyways....Married life is great! Actually, its the same as it was before we got married. HA! Just my name is different. Everything is going well ... Eric is doing fine. His fairly new job is doing good. He seems to like it. My job is doing good. There are a lot of benefits to my job...I work downtown, theres a beautiful view of the lake and museums, I don't have to wear a suit to work every day, we don't have to time-in and time-out, we don't have to pay for our benefits.. its not that great, but why should I complain if its free! I know it isn't that much, but if I was really unhappy about it, then I should've found another job by now... my boss and his family are very nice and my best friend and cousin-in-law, Jackie, works with me! What more can I ask for?? Well, money BUT that's my own decision to stay here. Why would I stay if I was miserable? That's just so unhealthy.

Sooo... my birthday is next week! Yep! Nothing special. Just planning a peaceful weekend...BECAUSE my friends are not in town!! So, maybe I'll go shopping...I need Aveda & Clinique products and winter woredrobe! It's getting cold here! I wore a sweater last night. Then, Eric and I will go to dinner..and I hope a movie! I'd like to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2!!!

Hi! I just wanted to say Hello and Sorry! I've been busy trying to clean and put away the wedding stuff I have lying around the apartment. And I've been trying to catch up with LOST and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. I've finished Season 2 of LOST and I LOVE IT! It's BRILLIANT!!! I can't wait for it to start on October 4th. I still have to watch four more Desperate Housewives and I'll be ready for Sunday Nights Show Season Premier!
Tonight I watched the Premier of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip it was really good! It reminded me of what it would be like behind the scenes of Saturday Night Live. I think its a keeper!
I've so been busy putting the pictures that my family has been emailing me together. There's a lot! It's crazy! I've ordered already 200 pics! AHHH! But they are great memories that I like to re-live over and over again! I can't believe the wedding is already over!
It's getting cold out. We haven't used the air conditioner since the before the wedding. I guess it's time to take them out of the windows. I heard that this will be the coldest winter yet!

I forgot to announce... Ruth, Chris & Justin are getting ready for baby #2!! Yes! They announced it at our wedding weekend but I knew WAY before that! It almost slipped a couple of times but I caught myself. Anyways, here is baby #2 due February 25, 2007... Congratulations!!!

Last night, Eric and I went to the Sox Grinder Bash. It was very fun!! Eric and I got a chance to go out onto the field and check out the dug out. We got to go into the patio, bull pen and scouts room. There was an all-you-can-eat buffet and drink: Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Burgers and salad. I loved it all!!! It was a lot of fun! We didn't get a chance to take pictures with the Trophy but I got onto the sidelines and took a couple of pick of it.
Then, Eric and I ended the evening at Navy Pier. We walked the pier...bought some ice cream and a drink. It was a beautiful night!!! Very romantic.

Friday night, Eric's mom, Linda, was in town for our last wedding shower and she brought a couple of her friends. We met them at the Dragonfly on Randolph. It was nice. I had the Duck and it was pretty boney but moist and I liked it. After dinner, we went downtown hoping to grab a drink at Nomi where Jesse is the Advanced Sommelier. But it was way too busy. So we ended up in the bar at the Peninsula. That was fun!
Saturday afternoon, we had my very last Wedding Shower at the White Eage Banquet Hall. It was very nice. There was a lot of food. Too much actually. But a lot of fun! After the shower, Linda and I took off to dinner with her and her friends. Just us ladies to The Everest. Very FANCY!!!! I had the Lobster...OMG was it amazing!! It just melts in your mouth!! I loved it. I ate real slow so I can enjoy it while I had it! After dinner, I drove the ladies to the John Hancock Signature Room had a drink and took off to meet Eric at the Subterranean for some after evening fun.
After a wonderful weekend, Eric and I stayed home and watched, The New World, with POPCORN.. (thanks Michelle!) It was a LONG and kinda BORING movie.

What a long LONG weekend! Every thing was great until last night. Came home after an evening with my family for Georgette's birthday and found our front door WIDE open! VERY SCARY! I couldn't find Nikki...and I didn't know if anyone was in the apartment. Whippet was sitting in front of the opened door but I still couldn't find Nikkie. After NOT coming out after I've shaked the cat treats and open can food I found her hiding under the table. She was as nervous as I was...and I hadn't checked out the closets and the bedroom yet. So I grabbed a knife and started waving it under the couch...in the closets and especially under the bed! No one was there...Nothing was taken. BUT I WAS SO SCARED! Erc wasn't home so it was so much scarier! Nothing was taken but still ... what had happen? Not sure yet! But we're going to let the landlord know and have our locks changed or something! I'm pretty tired! Eric didn't get home til 2 and I couldn't go to sleep!!! So I'm really dazed right now. My mind is not functioning correctly.

The best thing has happened to me today!!! I've finished most of the more important wedding stuff AND I've found my VERY BEST FRIEND from High School today!!! Erika!! She's great! We met during my surprise party freshman year of high school. We've never met before that ... we were both told that we looked EXACTLY ALIKE. So they arranged for us to meet at my party. It was cool!!! Her birthday was only 6 days before mine... and we were both Filipino and we both had long hair and glasses!!! When she walked up to my stairs we both looked at each other and knew WE DID NOT LOOK ALIKE AT ALL!!!!!! It was hilarious!!! We became GREAT friends after that!!! We found out we both love PURPLE...and we didn't like the same guys... well a couple but we had our differences. She's married and has 3 kids now. Erika if you read this.. I've missed you! Even though we didn't spend a LOT of time together...we shared a lot of things. I missed our NOTES and our LUNCHES! I hope we can get together again!

TGIF!!! Today is going to be a LONG DAY!! I know it will be! But I can't wait till next week. It's going to be great and relaxing. No, I'm not going any where but its going to be great.
Did NOT see the Turkey this morning.. must've been one of those "BIG FOOT" sitings. I DID REALLY SEE IT!!!!!!
Diana will be leaving in about a week to check out her new job in Alaska! AWWW!!! Going to miss her.
Molly is safe and sound in Minneapolis. She's already started school for her Real Estate License. She's going to do a great job! Miss you Molly!
Got a new phone yesterday! Yes! Its great! It's a Motorola L2. I still don't know how to use make use of it yet. I'll figure it sometime...but Yea I LOVE IT!

I saw a WILD TURKEY this morning in front of our APARTMENT!! For Real!!! I did! It was crazy! I wanted to take a picture but I knew it would've ran cause it already saw me gawking at him. I've only seen wild turkey's at Eric's parents house but NOT IN CHICAGO!!! So STRANGE!

Went to dinner with Neda last night. It was pretty fun. We had dinner and talked about her new beau "friend." She looks great! I'm really jealous...she was the biggest tomboy in high school, now she's like a Hot Girl that we were both jealous about!
After the wedding, I'm going to work hard to look like her! I can't do to much now because I've already brought my wedding dress to get altered, don't want to lose weight anymore.Otherwise, the dress would have to get altered again! Ugh!

What a LONG week!! Eric was in D.C. for work last week. He came home Friday night. We got to hang out Friday night and Saturday...woo hoo! Went out to see some of our friends and practice some sign language with them. I think I'm doing good. Then meet up with some other friends who were playing a show that evening at the Big Horse. It was a tiring weekend.
Season finale for Sopranos. What did you think?? I think it was OK. Not my favorite season finale.. but I can't wait to see how it ends!
