I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th Weekend! Eric and I headed out to the lake in Nebraska this weekend for a wonderful day! Thanks again Mr. & Mrs. Maly for a wonderful weekend! I have pictures to put up but I don't have time today. But here is one of the firework displays that we had at the cabin. Its the ONE BIG MOTHER IN LAW... I was right underneath them. I tried to zoom out as much as I could but they were too big to fit....Enjoy!

HAPPY JULY 4TH WEEKEND!!! Tomorrow is a half day at work...then I'm off!!! YIPEE!!!! I hope everyone have a safe and fun holiday!!!

Here's a photo of my cousin's GRADUATION!! Yep! He's a Seattle Fireman. Can't wait to tell Grandpa that I have a relative who's a fireman!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

ANOTHER HOT DAY!!! AIR POLLUTION ACTION DAY!! It'll be so hot and humid...it will be hard to breathe!!!

What a great weekend! Friday night, Eric and I took it easy and stayed home to watch another few episodes of the Sopranos (Season 5). It was ok. Not as interesting as the past Sopranos.

Saturday Night, Oli and Diana came over to play some poker. It was a FUN and LONG evening. I'm so glad they came over.

Sunday, Eric, Jesse and I headed over to Oli's to for an afternoon BBQ. BBQs are always fun over at Oli, Margaret and Trout's place! Thanks, Guys! We came home a little early because of our long evening and thought to watch a movie. But I got a sweet tooth and asked Eric to see if he wanted to get some ice cream. He did! We went to the restaurant, sat outside and saw Lindsay (Eric's cousin) walking out. Lindsay was in town for the weekend. She was hoping to see us by eating at the restaurant. Funny! They sat and talked with us as we ate our desert. It was nice to see you Lindsay!!! See you next weekend!!!

HOT! HOT! DAY!! Its going to be a scorcher today!!! 95 DEGREES!!!

Whippet wasn't feeling very well the other day but last night he was ok. He didn't have too much to eat or drink but I had him in the A/C. Hopefully, it was a little dehydration that made him ill. He drank the milk I brought over for him and a bowl of canned food. Hoping he'll be better with the air on all day today.

Today is the start of the ANNUAL TASTE OF CHICAGO!! Maybe next year, Eric's Family could come and experience this wonderful festival!!!!

Yesterday would've been my Grandmothers 81st Bday and we would've celebrated it here in Chicago.

Last night Whippet got very sick. He threw up about 5 times. I was really scared because it reminded me of how Swelly started to get sick before she died. He slept next to me the whole night while I watched "LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS." I enjoyed the movie. It reminded me of "Beetlejuice." I hope Whippet's OK today. Eric thinks it might be just the heat. And today will be a HOT one. So we'll have the A/C on today.

This morning I found this picture on People.com:

It's Nicole Kidman in New York. This is how we saw her when she came out of the David Letterman Show, except her hair was down and bright yellow. She didn't look this skinny, she was beautiful.

Hi! Sorry its been taking me so long to write. Still trying to get back to normal. Got back to work yesterday. Didn't really want to. Justin, Sarah and Steve were in town during the weekend. It was a lot of fun. We had some drinks at our place then went to see Colby (with Red Scarf) with Bobby Conn:

It was a fun show. Eric and I were Colby's groupies ... right in front cheering ... Colby! Colby! Colby! (We love you Colby). And let me tell you Colby LOOKED FABULOUS!!!

Saturday Night Eric and I had dinner with my parents for Father's Day at a Korean BBQ. It was a different experience. This place called San Soo Gab San on Western Ave. had very good food. Like what most reviews say...GREAT FOOD!! POOR SERVICE! I think it's because they didn't understand english. Opps!

Sunday Night, Eric and I hosted a dinner by Jesse Becker with Justin, Sarah, and Steve as the guest of honors. Dinner was DELICIOUS!!! Jesse and Justin made lasagna...which was EXCELLENT. FOUR stars!! And Jesse made hor dourves from the book we got him in New York where we had dinner at the River Cafe in Brooklyn with the family. I'll have those pictures up as soon as I can.

I just want to thank everyone who's donated and supported the American Cancer Society. I've promised everyone who donated that I will donate my hair to the Locks of Love in honor of them. I'll have Eric take a picture of my hair tonight. It won't be ready til the end of August. I think.

Just got back from New York City for Chris & Brook's Wedding!! What a GREAT TIME!!!! Thank You Very MUCH for a BEWITCHING Week!!!

Speaking of....We saw Nicole Kidman on our quest to get into the David Letterman show. We didn't make the cut but Brook's Brothers, Nate and Jason did! They got to see MARKY MARK! I'm so jealous. Nicole Kidman was on his earlier taping and we got to see her come out. FUN!!!

I'll have more stuff up about our trip to New York City. I just want to thank everyone for a WONDERFUL TIME. Brook, your family is wonderful!! Nate & Jason, COME TO CHICAGO!!

HI! Sorry I've taken so long to write. I've been busy with wedding invitations, birthday invitations. Trying to find dresses to New York...etc. etc. It's been so hot over here I don't want to do any work!

Well.. my hair is already below the middle of my back. I told Eric that I would let it grow til it gets down to my waist. He likes my hair long.

I won't be collecting donations for Locks of Love anymore. Instead I would prefer that everyone donate to the American Cancer Society to help fight against cancer. And I will donate my hair to the Locks of Love organization. How's that sound?
