WHAT A STRANGE EVENING!! After a WONDERFUL celebratory salmon dinner Jesse made last night (because Eric will be GRADUATING!!) and a GREAT (Congratulations) Cake. Eric and I spent the evening in the DARK!!! Yes, our block had a black out for two and half hours!!! Eric and I were surrounded by candelight. How romantic! Thanks again Jesse for an AMAZING dinner!

What a FUN Weekend!!! The weather was so BEAUTIFUL!!!! Eric and I went to his work retreat in Wisconsin. We did some fishing...Eric caught 3 fish and I caught 2. One BIG FISH...a Sheepshead. It was too big to handle, got caught in another line and it got away. So, I had no pictures of it. But it was such a great time!!!
Oli's 30th Bday party was this weekend. That was a great time too!!! Saw many friends I haven't seen in a while, like the Head of Femur crew, Kelley, Beth, Colby. It was such a Great Party!! Happy Birthday, Oli!!! (Aug. 2)

Another Wonderful Day!! Hopefully, it'll be like this all weekend long. Eric and I are going to his work retreat...we're going fishin!! Then, Oli's 30th Birthday Party! THEN Justin will be in town. THEN Eric and I will be in Nebraska for Chris & Brook's reception. What an exciting WEEK!! Whoo Hoo!!
Isn't Ysabella (Jakamahaka of the Week) soooo cute!!! Her name is spelled with a Y so her INITIALS can be... Y.M.C.A. So cute!! It's a beautiful name!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARU!! Maru's my first godson! Whoa!
What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! 64 Degrees this morning and staying in the 60s all day! YAHOO!!! Its going back to the 80s tomorrow, hopefully not so high.
Just heard!! According to People.com, Alias has made Jennifer Garner part of the show. Sydney will be pregnant with Michael Vaughn's baby! Yay! I can't wait til next season starts!!

WHOA! It's already 81 degrees this morning!! This weekend was HOT!! HOT!! But still a wonderful time.
Friday Night we met up with Oli and Diana for some drinks before watching Jonathans show at the Underground Lounge. I hate to say it but I don't remember, at all, the name of the band. It was great! Jonathan and the drummer/singer...were AWESOME!!!
Sunday we helped Diana put her A/C at her new place. Her new place is absolutely gorgeous!!! I told her if they have an opening in the apartment, let us know!! Its a great apartment!

HOT! HOT! Week!! Going to get hotter this weekend!! The temperature is suppose to go up to 100 and the heat index suppose to go way up!! UGH!! Yesterday was nice. After my first attempt in running, which lasted me only a half hour...I usually jog for an hour, but running is just too hard. When I got home I watched the first epsiode of "Xena: The Princess Warrior." I love that show!! Its so much fun to watch!!

Eric took me to watch "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" last night. It was so fun!! It wasn't as scary as the "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"!!! I love Johnny Depp. Bring the KIDS!! It's the funniest!!!

A sigh of relief as Hurricane Dennis sweeps through the Southeast coast. Now comes the heat, humidity and the rain up here in Chicago. It'll be pretty warm today. And, the humidy will be high. 81 degrees right now with 59% humidity. Chance of rain tomorrow. We need it!
My dad had a little accident this weekend. It wasn't bad at all. Just a little ding. Of course, the woman driving the Lexus was trying to say it was my dads fault... uh, who didn't have HER TURN SIGNAL ON??????? HOW RUDE!

So many sad stories in the news today. Bomers, murders, hurricanes, missing children!! Here is a missing child from Chisholm, MN. I just read about it on the Chicago Tribune, "Idaho Suspect's Blog Mentions Minn. Girl," about how the man who kidnap Dylan Groene and Shasta Groene mentioned a little girl named Leanna 'Beaner' Warner, 5, who went missing June 14, 2003. They don't know if he's connected but they are investigating.

ATTENTION ALL I-80 DRIVERS!!!!
I was reading the Tribune online this evening when I came upon this very sad story about a woman looking for her children, who were killed by her husband and buried along a stretch between Grove City, Pa., and Iowa City on I-80, then killed himself. She asks for help and I thought I would place it on my website hoping someone reading this might help as well.

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th Weekend! Eric and I headed out to the lake in Nebraska this weekend for a wonderful day! Thanks again Mr. & Mrs. Maly for a wonderful weekend! I have pictures to put up but I don't have time today. But here is one of the firework displays that we had at the cabin. Its the ONE BIG MOTHER IN LAW... I was right underneath them. I tried to zoom out as much as I could but they were too big to fit....Enjoy!
