Irene leaves behind a husband and 3 beautiful children. My cousin, Manuel, has been a stay-at-home dad, taking care of the housework and the children ... now he's going to have to work and raise these 3 kids ... Gail, 9, Morgann, 6 and Ryan, 1. As my family and I reach out to them, I'm reaching out to you .. hoping you can lend them a hand, too. What can I say? Last weekend, was one of the worst weekends I ever had to spend with my family. It wasn't how I wanted to spend being with all my cousins, aunts & uncles. It was so sad. And unfair! Unfair that WE all had to be together like that only for weddings and funerals.
Irene was a very special person. She was my cousin's wife for 16 years but had been apart of all our lives for about 20 years! She filled the air with smiles and laughter. She left us with 3 beautiful smiles...Gail, Morgann & Ryan. We will always see her in them! We will miss you, Irene! |

So, I took Friday off to spend with Eric. The weather was beautiful and I had taken the day off. It was a wonderful day!! Eric and I went to the Shedd Aquarium. We had purchase tickets online .. I didn't think going to a museum was so expensive these days so we purchased the one we could afford. Luckily we did that because when we got there the line was out the door and we just had to walk over to the information desk to get our pass to get in...BUT instead of getting the pass we ordered online .. they gave us an ALL-ACCESS pass! Yes! It was great! We got to go through the whole aquarium! We spent all day and afternoon there. We got to see the Philippine Reef.. BEAUTIFUL! And the all popular Komono Dragon. Unfortunately, I didnt have a camera to take any pictures!!! I do have some pictures in my cell phone...I'll see if I can get it out. Anyways, after the Shedd we walked all the way to Navy Pier. We checked out the beautiful Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows... BEAUTIFUL. Some of them were made in the early 1900s from Chicago. It was all so beautiful. If I had a house I would want one of those windows in it! It was a wonderful Friday! Sooo Sunday Night! SOPRANOS!!!! Ummmm does anyone have the feeling that everyones going to die??? I think by the end of this season...everyone will be dead! HA! Although, Christopher and Bobby has sealed their fate by dishonoring Tony... what do you think?? OK DONT FORGET!! THE BLACK DONNELLY'S WILL BE ON TONIGHT ONLINE ONLY!!! PLEASE WATCH!!!! IF YOU'VE NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW... I SUGGEST CHECKING IT OUT ONLINE AS WELL! I actually rented the pilot episode on Netflix!! ALTHOUGH I'VE ALREADY SEEN IT! IT WAS AWESOME! |

HELLO EVERYONE!!! It's April 11 here in Chicago and guess what!!??? We had a small snow storm this morning! Yes SNOW!! I had to brush snow off my car this morning. It was sooooo crazy! Anyways, AGAIN Im sorry I havent been writing ... been pretty busy...still trying to lose MORE weight...I lost 10lbs. I want to lose 10 more! So, I've been going to the gym 3 times a week and watching what I eat. Ive been doing pretty good. I think! So TO IMPORTANT THINGS ... I think my show has been cancelled! The Black Donnellys THE BLACK DONNELLYS IS MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME! Summarized by Netflix - Kevin (Billy Lush), Jimmy (Tom Guiry), Tommy (Jonathan Tucker) and Sean Donnelly (Michael Stahl-David) are four young, working-class Irish brothers, inexorably tied to a New York City crime syndicate. The brothers' determination to protect their family and territory -- Hell's Kitchen -- at any cost keeps them in a vicious cycle of loyalty with little hope of escape. Paul Haggis's gritty mob drama also stars Mark Margolis as mob boss Sal Minetta. An AWESOME SHOW!!! And it needs YOUR HELP!!! Either watch the EPISODES or PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION According to the actor Billy Lush of the Black Donnellys we can save the show...This is what he says: I am in deep denial that this show is off the air. Granted I could watch the rest of the episodes every monday night ... I just wish it was back on TV! SAVE THE BLACK DONNELLYS!! |

I hope everyone sobered up after their St. Patrick Weekend! Unfortunately, Eric and I was not able to go out an celebrate Saturday Night. Eric had to work the second shift, ironically, because some people called in sick! Hmmm... Anyways, while he was at work, I watched one of my favorite movies, Star Wars: A New Hope. AND I found the FUNNIEST BLOOPER EVER on it!!! How I found it was really funny, as well! It all starts in the scene where R2 and C3PO are in the security station while Luke & Han rescuses the Princess. Storm Troopers start banging on the door to open up. R2 & C3PO lock themselves in a closet. The Storm Troopers finally get door open. (Mind You... their doors Open from the bottom and top) HERE IT COMES! The Storm Troopers walk in and THUMP!!!!! I said to myself "What was that!?" .... I rewind! .... THUMP! .... A Storm Trooper CLOCKS HIS HEAD ON THE DOOR THAT DID NOT GO ALL THE WAY UP!!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!! It was the funniest thing! I had to watch it about 4 or 5 times!!! It was hilarious!!! HA! That was the highlight of my weekend! |

SORRY! I wish I could update this daily but I've been pretty busy! working on LOSING WEIGHT and trying to get BUFF! I have lost EIGHT POUNDS since January 2nd!! YEP!!! Im so proud of myself. I have a few more pounds to lose ... NOW I WANT SOME ABS!!!! I've tried a couple of diet techniques before the beginning of the year and that did NOT work at all!! I was starving myself but never lost a pound. Exercising three times a week really helps out! In fact, I only worked out 30 mins. twice a week for 7 weeks and I only lost 4lbs!!! Then, I started working out 1 hour 3 times a week and two weeks later I lost 4 more pounds!!! Pretty Exciting! I really enjoy the Kwando class .. its really tough but I can only do 30 mins. I nearly died the first time I went! My husband, Eric, is a wonderful supporter! He's been going to the gym himself... 2 hours twice a week! I would go with him but after an hour of working out...I'd like to go home and finish up with a 10 min. yoga session. HA!
